Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for August 14th

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Our friend Mike had a busy week, as you can see, but making all those new Corvette owners happy is worth it! Lots of great colors here, and Mike shares the specs so you know how the cars are equipped. ~Working within 25 miles of Wash, DC at Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg, MD, sometimes puts me in a position to receive many calls over the years to many political personalities, movie stars and athletes, among others. Pictured is G Gordon Liddy, but here is a short list of others that have called on me over the years. Robert Prosky (The Judge in the movie The Natural, Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman) bought a new 2008 Suburban from me), O. North bought a 95 sedan, Justin Verlander bought a 2012 Z06 100th anniversary Corvette, Thurgood Marshall Jr bought a 2016 Z06, and Judge Lance Ito bought a C8 two years ago. I guess I should have kept a complete log starting 45 years ago, but every once in a while I will have that “Oh Yeah” moment and remember someone else. No book is forthcoming, trust me, many folks I have sworn to secrecy, and I don’t post their delivery pictures, etc.

~C8 Corvette Deliveries for the week:

~David P. of Sarver, Pennsylvania factory ordered from me a new Silver Flare 2023 Corvette convertible with two tone Natural/Black interior. This will go well in his garage that is packed with a 1968 Corvette that he has owned since 1969 as well his Ferrari and Porsche among other sports cars. Today he and his friend Dan drove down and I had them in and out within 35 minutes. Headed NW to Pittsburgh and there were smiles all around.

~Justin and Nicole S. of Oxford, Pennsylvania hitched a ride down today to take delivery of their very first Corvette. Two cool folks now own this Elkhart Lake Blue 2023 Corvette Z51 coupe with Natural interior. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, front lift, magnetic ride, edge red calipers , Spectra gray wheels and much more.

~Jerome P. of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina factory ordered his new Amplify Orange 2023 Corvette Z51 coupe with Sky cool gray interior. Our Service department completed the PDI and the paperwork has been completed via Fed Ex. This coming week Plycar will load it and enclose trailer to South Carolina.

~Jones M. of Hanover, Maryland took a rare day off and his wife joined him for today’s delivery of his new Torch Red 2023 Corvette Z51 coupe with two tone Red/Black interior. Today was his only possible pick up date so I came in to do the delivery on my day off and my birthday! They both appreciated the effort and I was glad to make it work on their behalf. Lots of smiles all around today.

~Zach C. of Houston, Texas placed his factory order with me and when his Corvette arrived our service department performed the PDI and then Zach arranged some cool work to be done before it gets shipped to Texas. The paperwork process has been completed via Fed Ex and now Plycar will load it up tomorrow for the enclosed trailer trip to his Houston home. Cool color combo for his 2023 Corvette Convertible, Black paint with the Two tone dipped interior of Tension/Twilight Blue!

~Tom P. of Ellicott City, Maryland picked up his Corvette last week and today he took delivery of his sons Hypersonic Gray 2023 Corvette coupe. Cool combo with yellow calipers, yellow seat belts and CF high wing spoiler.

~Muhammed J. of Mechanicsville, Maryland brought the whole family dressed in Red so he could take delivery of his new Torch Red 2023 Corvette Coupe with Adrenaline Red interior. Equipment list: 2LT, bright red calipers, performance exhaust, high wing spoiler and black exhaust tips.

~Richard R. of Pemberton, New Jersey bought his C7 from me and today was C8 delivery day. His wife was kind enough to drive the chase car so he could take delivery of his new Arctic White 2023 Corvette Convertible with the Red dipped interior and trust me when I tell you, this Drop top Stingray is stunning. I had them in and out swiftly so they could get back on the road 200 miles North to New Jersey.

~8/14/22~The Frank Class Corvette barn find and throw back section. 100 oldies but goodies.
