Poland’s Iga Swiatek was confirmed as the new Women’s Tennis Association number one in the rankings released Monday, replacing the resigned Ashleigh Barty.

The 20 year old celebrated her new status in style on Sunday, winning the Miami Open with a straight-sets victory throughout four time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka.

Iga Swiatek’s victory made her to be the fourth ladies’ player in history to win the Indian Wells and Miami tournaments one after the other.
The previous French Open champion as of now holds a significant lead over second ranked Czech Barbora Krejcikova.
