Members and supporters of Relentless Church of Greenville South Carolina are calling on The Lord in prayer as their head pastor, John Gray was hospitalized Thursday. Pastor Gray suffered a saddle pulmonary embolism. A life-threatening condition, Saddle Pulmonary Embolism is when a rare type of blockage occurs in an artery in the lungs according to the National Library of Medicine.

The announcement came by way of First Lady, Aventure Gray’s Instagram.

A photo of her hand interlocked with what appears to belong to her husband, a photo of a hospital triage room, and a picture of her husband’s name from what may be a hospital vitals monitor was collapsed into one post.

“Hello family. My family and I stand in need of a miracle. Please keep my husband @realjohngray in your prayers.

After feeling a little different over the past couple weeks, he went to the ER on Thursday evening and was immediately admitted to CCU with A saddle Pulmonary Embolism in the pulmonary artery and more lung blood clots. The Saddle PE is in a position that could potentially end his life if it shifts at all. The clot burden is severe and only God is holding it in place. He is currently in CCU and based on CT & Echo we will need two types of surgery due to the pressure now on the heart within the next 24 hours. To place this in perspective, the doctor said that people have come into the hospital dead with this exact scenario he walked in with.

The Doctor said God has to keep him through the night and he can not move, not even get up to walk to a bathroom.

Ok, COOL! Thanks ma’am! God isn’t done! I don’t care what CT, ECHO, All or any of the tests show! It’s clear God isn’t finished. Clots have to bow to my God! That’s all!

I need as many people who believe in the miracle healing power Of Jesus Christ to join me and my family and our church as we cry out on behalf of John W. Gray III.

I’m rocking with God, Relentlessly!”

Aventer Gray addressed the church congregation in a video Sunday stating that her “faith is being tested”.

“One thing I know about my husband is that he belongs to him (God). My husband is fighting for his life right now,” said the First Lady.

Support From Pastor’s Peers Rolls In From All Over The Country:

“Let’s unite and band together in prayer for our dear brother and pastor. God, we ask that you heal, restore and raise him up again.” said Pastor Carl McClurney of New Harvest Ministries.

Pastor Robert Morris of Gateway Church in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas posted a call to prayer on his Facebook. “I believe God can heal him naturally, medically, and miraculously. Will you join me in prayer for John’s complete healing?” he said.

Singer Tyrese posted in support of Pastor’s recovery.

Actress Meagan Good shared her support by letting the Aventure know that she too is praying for the Pastor’s Recovery.

All prayer hands are needed on deck for the Gray family as they navigate this unfortunate crisis.
