[VIDEO] Dale Jr Takes James Hinchcliffe for a Ride in the Corvette Pace Car on the IMS Road Course

Racing returns to the Brickyard this weekend as both IndyCar and NASCAR will be hosting races at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

We’ve previously covered the IndyCar drivers offering fans a look at the track by taking a hot lap in the Corvette Stingray Pace Car. This weekend, we get a special treat at NBC commentator Dale Jr. takes his first drive around the IMS Road Course with IndyCar’s James Hinchcliffe riding shotgun and offering his take on each of the 14 corners that make up the 2.439-mile road course.

Dale does pretty well around the course with James saying he doesn’t think the Pace Car has ever been that fast around the course. “Man, this is fun,” says Dale. “I’ve got to come try it. I’m gonna run here next year,” he adds.
