Last week, we told you all about that phone call received by Illinois resident Jeff Bellmyer from the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. He was finishing a movie when the phone rang, and he let it go to voicemail. As he replayed the message, Jeff says he dropped the phone from pure shock as soon as he heard the words, “Hello Jeff, this is Bob from the Sprint Car Hall of Fame.”
Jeff had made a donation to the nonprofit National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum, which also entered him to win a 2022 Corvette IMSA GTLM C8.R Edition. Several days after his amazing phone call, he and his wife traveled to Knoxville, Iowa, to take delivery of the special edition Stingray.
The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum has offered several C8 Stingrays as grand prizes for the foundation’s annual fundraiser, but this year they are offering their biggest prize yet: a 70th Anniversary 2023 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 Performance Package plus $25,000 to help pay the taxes.

The 2023 70th Anniversary Corvette Z06 comes in the brilliant White Pearl Tricoat Metallic exterior with Satin Gray stripes. Special badges include a “70th” on the doors, while 70th Anniversary is included on the cross-flag emblems. Inside is a special Ceramic leather interior with GT2 seats. Owners also receive a special two-piece travel bag set with 70th Anniversary embossed on the sides.
You’ll need that luggage for the next-level driving adventures this all-new American sportscar offers. Powered by the 670-hp naturally aspirated LT6 V8, the Z06 takes you places that were once only reserved for exotic sports cars. The flat-plane crankshaft design entices drivers to push the tachometer to a lofty 8,600 rpm, and when you feel the need for speed, the huge Michelin 345s Pilot Cup 2R tires help put the power to the pavement as it propels you 0-60 in 2.6 seconds.
“The new Corvette Z06 defines the American supercar,” said General Motors President Mark Reuss. “It builds on the distinctive design and groundbreaking dynamics introduced with the mid-engine Corvette and elevates them to deliver refined but uncompromising track capability with world-class performance.”
The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is the only museum dedicated to sprint car racing. This annual fundraiser helps to support their ongoing mission of promoting sprint car racing. The drawing for this exciting 70th Anniversary Corvette Z06 is August 19th, 2023.
